New England Patriots Head coach Mike Vabel apparently got his birthday stage after trying to break a match under the team’s joint practice with Minnesota Vikings on Thursday.
The main coach, who turned 50 on Thursday, was caught on video knocked to the ground after throwing himself in the middle of a mixture on the field in an attempt to break it up.

Video that shared on social media showed two Nfl Players on the ground scrap after the whistles were blown up.

It quickly turned into a pile of players and Vrabel was not far behind.
As people of people moved on the field, Vabel was immediately beaten in the process. The fight settled down quickly and there were no reported injuries.
In a speech with the media earlier in the day, Vrabel apparently offered an explanation of the tense nature of common practice.

“This practice is like a game – we’ve said that. There are ups and downs. We hit some spectacles. They hit some acting.”
Thursday’s practice, however, was not the first time Vabrabel had been involved in a practice match. Earlier this month during a common practice with Washington Commandants, Vrabel stepped in to try to break down another match.
ESPN reported At the time Vrabel went away with a bloody cheek.

The Patriots hope to carry the same intensity in week 1 when they host Las Vegas Raiders on September 7th.
