Matthew Stafford doesn’t go anywhere.
Star Quarterback and Los Angeles Rams agreed on a restructured deal on Friday that will hold Stafford in California, the team announced.
Las Vegas Raiders and New York Giants were in trade negotiations with Stafford’s Camp, but Quarterback ended up taking less to stay with Rams, according to the NFL network.

Stafford and Rams were a game away from beating the possible Super Bowl champion Philadelphia Eagles in the NFC Division Round before they fell short.
In this loss, Stafford ended almost 60% of his passports while throwing in 324 yards and two touchdowns despite less than ideal weather conditions.
Rams won the NFC West last season, went 10-7 and defeated Minnesota Vikings in the Wild-Card round before eventually losing to Eagles.
Stafford, 37, was good last season. Rams was 10-6 in his start (Stafford rested in week 18), and Stafford finished almost 66% of his passports in 3,762 yards while throwing 20 touchdowns and eight captures.

While Stafford will be back with Rams, Cooper Kupp probably won’t be. The team is looking to swap him.
Despite potentially losing Kupp, Stafford still has Puka Nacua, a 2023 election of the fifth round that has evolved into a star to throw to.

Stafford won a Super Bowl with Rams in his first season with the team after being traded from Detroit Lions before the 2021 season and hopes to bring another to Los Angeles with his return.
