Los Angeles Rams advance from one of the franchise staples.
The organization announced on Wednesday that they have released Cooper Kupp, who once considered the best wide recipient in the game.
Kupp revealed in a social media post last month that the team “sought a trade right and will work with me and my family to find the right place to continue competing for championships.”

Kupp admitted that he did not “agree with the decision and always thought it would begin and end in LA”
The soon-to-be 32-year-old has been mirrored with injuries ever since he took the receiving Triple Crown home in 2022 and won the Super Bowl MVP. He has played on only 33 of possible 51 matches in the last three seasons, and while he has been productive, he has taken a back seat to Puka Nacua, even while on the field.
Kupp was a third -round choice of rams In 2017 Out of eastern Washington and will now hit free agency for the first time.
In the 2022 season he put 145 receptions for 1,947 yards and 16 touchdowns; Since then he has had 201 catches in 2,259 yards and 17 scores.

His 710 receiving yards last year was his lowest since he set 566 in 2018, a season in which he missed half the matches. He has not played in over 12 games since the 2022 campaign and has not darkened the 1,000-yard brand since then.
“I’ve taken so much pride in playing with my teammates for the LA community, so thank you for embracing my family and making this such a special place for us,” Kupp said in his aforementioned social media post last month. “2024 began with one of the best training camps in my career. Preparations now start in 2025. Very motivated, as healthy as ever and look forward to playing elite football in the coming years. Love you … but will come for it all.”

Rams expanded Matthew Stafford earlier this season and also agreed to bring Davante Adams into a two-year deal after he looked like his all-pro-self with Aaron Rodgers under his short New York Jets Stint.
