NFL News: Ravens’ Derrick Henry apologizes for expensive fumble

Baltimore Ravens, who runs back Derrick Henry’s frustrations, cooked on Monday night when another fumble helped died the team in their loss to the Detroit Lions.

Henry had a decent game against the lions for the most part, but just like in the loss against Buffalo Bills, Ravens’ Momentum was averted four points in the fourth quarter. The star player took the pass and the ball was knocked out of his grip by Lions defensive than Aidan Hutchinson.

Henry was seen slamming his helmet in disgust when he returned to the sidelines. He ended with 50 rushing yard at 12 carrier and a touchdown.

Detroit kicked a field goal to extend the lead to seven points on their next possession. Baltimore would not score again until 29 seconds left in the game.

Lions won 38-30.

Henry offered an apology to the raven fans. He has three fumbles in three games as Ravens has fallen to 1-2 on the season.

“I’m my worst critic, so I have to watch the movie,” he told journalists. “I keep watching it. I know we’re having a short week but it’s just crazy. Three fumbles straight. I try every day to solve the problem that just happens so I try to work on it.

“I am my worst critic, so I will not try to beat myself too much but it is hard not that when it is consecuted and consistent [instances] of me that does the same. “

He promised to stay focused on removing the fumbles and taking care of football.
