NFL News: Rob Gronkowski predicts Chiefs’ Fall after Eagles broken code

NFL legend Rob Gronkowski believes that the fall of Kansas City Chiefs from the league’s top joint is upon us.

Gronkowski by a thing or two about winning the Super Bowls – he has four of them across his future Hall of Fame career. But he thinks Philadelphia Eagles cracked the code teams had been trying to find out for years when it comes to beating this Patrick Mahomes-led team.

After their 40-22 victory in New Orleans on the Super Bowl Lix, Gronkowski gave his acquisition of it all.

“Philadelphia Eagles opened the flooding gate of, ‘Hi, if you hit these guys in the face, you take it to those you come out and swing, they want to fold, and they won’t be the team you saw all last year,'” Gronkowski said at “Up & Adams.”

Chiefs have now lost back-to-back games when you include February’s loss in the Super Bowl as they fell to their AFC West-Rival, Los Angeles Chargers, in São Paulo, Brazil, to kick the season 2025.

While Herbert carved Chiefs’ defense, for a moment, Chief’s defense Lineman Chris Jones, who came into it with the defensive star ridge that was reassured over the sidelines, was captured.

Gronkowski made it a weight point in his argument.

“What I was surprised is when things don’t go their way, as you can see when they start fighting a little, they start shouting at each other,” he explained. “The guilt is starting to take place. You can see it on the sidelines. And it’s not a good situation. You’ll get together when you’re down when things don’t go your way.

“Seeing them start pointing fingers isn’t a good sign.”

Chiefs have a revenge option this Sunday in their home opener as Eagles travels to Arrowhead Stadium for a Super Bowl Lix match in Fox’s “America’s Game of the Week.”

Philadelphia handled Dallas Cowboys in his season opener, 24-20, when Jalen hurt two touchdowns, while this year’s offensive player from 2024 also added his first score of the campaign.

Eagles knew what to do with Mahomes and Company back in February, so it will be interesting to see how head coach Andy Reid and the rest of his coaching staff against Philadelphia this time.
