Ceedee Lamb’s name is set to become synonymous with an NFL rule. Dalla’s cowboy’s broad recipient’s notorious “nose riding” celebration was erected in Rule 12, Section 3, Article 1 (d) as one of the movements that players will be forbidden to do during games in the future.
“Any violent gesture to include but not limited to a necklace, simulate firing or fireishing of a gun or using ‘nose wiping’ gesture or an action that is sexually suggestive or offensive,” states the rule.
The league sent the rules -report to all 32 teams this week.

Anyone who makes gestures will be subject to a 15-yard unsports-like behavioral penalty. Pro Football Talk reported that the nose-wiping law is associated with a gang and has been used to “indicate that a person is unreliable.”

Lamb responded to the news by suggesting that he would turn to other celebration in the game.

“Smh, I have lots in mind,” wrote the three-time all-Pro-recipient along with an unametable face emoji in a social media post in response to a report quoting the “nose porch.”
Cowboys chose Lamb in the first round of 2020 NFL draft, and he has used gestures in the following seasons. Lamb has been one of the most productive players in his position in the last five years.

He has recorded at least 1,000 receiving yards in each of the last four seasons and has earned the Pro Bowl -Head Certifications for four consecutive years. Lamb missed two games last season, but ended the campaign in 2023 with a career high 1,749 receiving yards.
Dallas posted a 7-10 record last season. Cowboys signed ways with Mike McCarthy after the season and appointed Brian Schottenheimer as the team’s next coach.
