The Hall of Fame game between Los Angeles Chargers and Detroit Lions drew 6.9 million viewers on NBC, which had increased by 40% from last year, the front office sports reported, citing Nielsen rating.

It was the most watched Hall of Fame game since 2021.
During the 2025 NBA mail season, average viewing over ABC and ESPN was 6.13 million per year. Match, which was up 10% from last year, according to the league, showing how popular the NFL is – even when the games do not count.
