The NFL star Joe Mixon’s wallet won’t be $ 25,000 easier.
The league overturned the fine, which it was previously handed down after Houston Texans, who ran back, directed some criticism of the judges in an endgame last month.
The Texans suffered a 23-14 loss to the possible AFC champion Kansas City Chiefs on January 18. Mixon received the fine for his comments after the game and after Texans’ defense was punished twice for hits on Chiefs Quarterback Patrick Mahomes.

In a letter to Mixon, Appeal Officer Chris Palmer said during the consultation process that it was decided that Mixon “did not necessarily criticize the officials in public.”
When asked about the official after the game, Mixon said, “Everyone knows how it plays here.”

“You can never leave it in the referee’s hands,” Mixon said. “The whole world sees, man what it is. When it comes to it, you can never leave it in the hands of Refs. It’s good.”
The letter added that “the integrity of the game and its officials is responsible for everyone involved in the NFL.”

“During the appeal hearing, you said what you meant by your statements referring to the officials,” Palmer said in the letter. “As you know, statements can be interpreted differently by any individual, and it seems that you clearly understand the weight and harm to public criticism to officials, considering how influential your platform is like a player that I value.”
Mixon was originally fine for a comment that former Cincinnati recipient TJ Houshmandzadeh was published on social media.
“Why play the game if every 50/50 call comes with Chiefs,” wrote Houshmandzadeh on X, formerly known as Twitter, in a show of his apparent deal with return.

The remark was incorrectly attributed to Mixon in a Sports Illustrated Story.
Later in the day he was fined.
The NFL issued the fine for the comments that Mixon actually made. Sports Illustrated also corrected the error where the comment on X from Houshmandzadeh was attributed to him.
Mixon finished the Divisional Round game against Chiefs with 88 rushing yards. He performed in 14 games in regular season during his first season with the Texans and rushed to 1,016 yards.
