NFL veteran recipient Chris Conley leaves football to pursue his other passions.
Conley, 32, announced his retirement from the NFL after 10 seasons with a post on social media and explained that he has finally achieved what he set out to do as a child.

“When I was a kid, I wrote a set of targets. On that list was ‘Play 10 years in the NFL.’ Now that this goal has reached is time to put sights on something new, “Conley who spent the last two seasons with San Francisco 49ers, wrote.

“The last 10 years have been a dream. To have the opportunity to play in the league was an honor and whether it was to catch touchdowns or block them, I really gave it.”
Conley’s agent, Jonathan Perzley, told NFL Network Conley will sign up for the University of Georgia to pursue her dreams of becoming filmmaker.
“God makes no mistakes and I am grateful that he proved this to me throughout my career,” said Conley’s post. “He’s more than enough. See you in the next dream.”

A third round of choices out of Georgia, Conley was prepared by Kansas City Chiefs, With whom he played four seasons. He also spent time with Jacksonville Jaguars, Houston Texans and Tennessee Titans.
Conley performed his only Super Bowl performance against his former team, Chiefs, in 2024. He caught a pass in 18 meters in Niners ’25 -22 loss.

He completed his career with 226 receptions for 2,998 yards and 15 touchdowns.
