Travis Kelce decides his football future after losing the Super Bowl Lix. Craig Carton, Danny Parkins, Mark Schlereth and Plaxico Burress discuss the Chiefs dynasty and if it’s over after the loss.
Travis Kelce has not publicly commented on his retirement since his last podcast episode, but a high-level boss touched it on Tuesday.
Chiefs General Manager Brett Veach and head coach Andy Reid both talked about the tight end under media availability at NFL Combine.
“How we left at the end of the season is that he was fired up. He has one year more under contract,” Veach said.

“Still think he has that fire and desire to play, and as far as I am there is no time limit, I think we left when he would be back and we are happy to have him back and get him in progress. ”
Reid said he was talking to Kelce during the team’s exit meetings and gave the tight end some advice.
“At this point, you have to get out of town and relax. That’s my motto for these guys. They played a lot of games for a consistent amount of seasons here,” said Reid via Kansas City Star.
“You come to the end and you have exhausted yourself mentally and physically … go back and take care of it and we will talk.”

“But right now I think that’s what he’s doing.”
Kelce said he “kicked each, I can down the road” with regard to his decision to retire during his last episode of “new heights.”
Kelce was still productive this season, but his yards (823) and touchdowns (3) in the regular season this year were the lowest he has had for a whole season.

The tight end of the star said that if he were to return, he would not take any half measurements.
“I think I owe my teammates that if I come back, it will be something, that is a wholehearted decision,” Kelce said.
“I’m not half-by it. I’m fully here for them and I think I can play. It’s just whether I’m motivated or whether it’s the best decision for me as a man as a human being who a person to take on all this responsibility.
