NFL Rumors: Chiefs’ Travis Kelce gives no comment on NFL Future in Podcast

Travis Kelce’s podcast returned Wednesday after taking a break last week, but Kansas City Chiefs’ Star Tight end did not bring his game future in the middle of pension rumors.

Kelce, 35, said he “kicked each, I can down the road” with regard to his decision to retire in the episode shortly after Chiefs’ Super Bowl loss to Philadelphia Eagles.

Without commenting on his NFL future in his latest episode, Kelce still kicks the can down the road.

Travis and Jason Kelce brainstorm potential guests for upcoming shows this season, and Travis brought up Tom Brady as someone he would like to talk to and also ask for advice.

“Gosh, it would be fun to talk to Tom,” Travis said at “new heights.” “I want to talk to Tom about how he treated not to win the Super Bowls. F —. More Super Bowls.”

Brady was 7-3 in the Super Bowls in his legendary career, and Kelce is now 3-2 in the game in his career and deals with several defeats in the big game.

Travis, just a few weeks removed from 40-22 defeat in the Super Bowl Lix, said “Eagles broke my heart.”

Kelce’s long -time Chiefs teammate, Chris Jones, posted, “My Dawg had to return, we got unfinished business,” apparently referred to the tight end’s retirement decision.

Kelce said the podcast episode was recorded on Sunday despite being released Wednesday. Chiefs General Manager Brett Veach commented on Kelce’s future on the NFL Combine on Tuesday.

“How we left at the end of the season is that he was fired up. He has one year more under contract,” Veach said, talking to journalists at a press conference.

The three-time Super Bowl champion signed a two-year-old, $ 34.25 million contract extension before last season running through the 2025-2026 season, and Veach said he thinks Kelce still has more to give.

“Still think he has that fire and desire to play, and in terms of me there is no deadline. I think we left when he would be back and we are happy to have him back and get him in progress ”

Kelce was still productive this season, but his yards (823) and touchdowns (3) during the regular season this year were the lowest he has had in the entire season.

Should Kelce decide to return, he would return to his 13th season in the NFL and would be 36 years old during the season.
