Philadelphia Eagles’ way to consecutive Super Bowl championships begins on September 4th, when the team takes on Dallas Cowboys to officially start the 2025 season.
NFL announced the first game of the season Monday. The game is played at Lincoln Financial Field in Philadelphia. The Eagles swept the season series against Cowboys in 2024.

Jalen Hurts will be back under the center of Eagles with Superstars Saquon Barkley, Devonta Smith and Dallas Goedert, who create the offense with him. Barkley led Eagles as the offensive player of the year as he ran in 2,005 yards and 13 touchdowns, who came close to Eric Dickerson’s single-season dangerous record.
Eagles’ defense plagued Patrick Mahomes and Kansas City Chiefs in the Super Bowl Lix, and they will return Jalen Carter, Jordan Davis, Nolan Smith Jr., Zack Baun, Jalyx Hunt, Reed Blankenship, Quinyon Mitchell and Cooper Dejean. The team was first allowed in points and the other in yards allowed. Not to mention the team Linebacker Jihaad Campbell in the draft.
Dallas seems to spoil the party.

DAK Prescott is expected to be healthy and ready to lead cowboys back to the promised land.
Cowboys did not make a huge splash during the high season, but the team added the wide recipient George Pickens and ran Javonte Williams back as well as linebacker Kenneth Murray.
Prescott had 1,978 passing yards and 11 touchdown passes in eight games before suffering a season-ending injury. Ceedee Lamb led the violation with 101 catches for 1,194 yards and six touchdowns. A healthy cowboys team could get another race in NFC East.

Dallas has lost three out of four against Philadelphia. The last win came on December 10, 2023. Cowboy’s owner constantly the series against Eagles with a 71-57 record.
