As important as “the big game” is what happens in the week leading up to the Super Bowl can create lasting memories.
For 19 make-a-wish kids and their families, that’s exactly what happened Friday morning at the dressing room of lid in New Orleans Riverwalk Outlets.
The group, which has been in Big Easy for the Super Bowl Lix Week, has had lots of great experiences leading up to the game they will take part in.

But they got a surprise like nobody else when they were told by Orlando Ashford, strategic adviser, fanatics that each child would receive a $ 250 gift card to use in the store that included hats, sweaters, shirts and more from each team in Nfl.
However, that was not all when Ashford announced some special guests with him to help the children and their families choose the right gear: Detroit Lions, which is expected to be prepared in April for his new NFL team.
The group got lost when the three footballers went out and they got shopping.

“Make-a-Wish Foundation is incredible and can be here to see the smiles on the children’s faces, it’s something as simple as taking a picture, hanging out, shopping, doing anything. It’s pretty special,” wirfs , Who said he has another perspective that is now a father himself, Pakinomist told Digital during the shopping trip.
Taxing added: “You never really know who to meet and what smile will make the day for you. You don’t know and realize what these kids know about you. The fact that you can do their day by just meet them, put a smile on your face while meeting them, it can change their lives and how you look at things.

Ashford mentioned during his speech before revealing the players that he has actually withdrawn from his role with fanatics, but he stays in Make-a-Wish National Board because of how much he loves to create memories of these children and their Families on the sports side.
“For a company like fanatics, we have been blessed to go to the Super Bowl and have good events like this,” he said. “To be able to take some of that energy and pour it into some young people who have to do with some rather extreme problems and challenges, we are more than honored to do it as a company.
“The reason I continue to do it is because it is such an energy increase.”
Flo Bryan, Chief Corporate Alliances officer, was also all smiling and interacting with the kids who chose their favorite player and team gear. It is safe to say that any event like this one never gets old.
“Oh, gosh no,” she replied. “You see the smiles on the faces of these children. Just the fact that we are able to give these kinds of wishes with partners as fanatics. Since they have come on board as our official sports sponsor to get them to raise these wishes as they has done is incredible.

Lasting memories were made in this lid shop on Friday morning, and many more will continue to be made with this partnership for make-a-wish and fanatics as they continue to gather some of the best athletes in the world to give hope and Joy for these children and their families undergo challenges.
“I couldn’t imagine meeting someone in the NFL when I was a kid. So being able to be the person for these kids now is a really cool feeling,” Wirfs said.
