NFL, Texas-based teams lift donation of $ 1.5 million to flooding relief

The Nfl, Together, Dallas Cowboys and Houston Texans have promised to donate $ 1.5 million to the communities affected by the flood in central Texas as the death toll reached almost 70 on Sunday.

NFL announced the donation before Texas officials shared an update that they had received “Unconfirmed reports of another wall of water” that formed several evacuations.

“Together, they will contribute $ 1.5 million to provide both immediate help and long -term resources to those most affected by the catastrophic flood.”

The Texans First announced plans to donate $ 500,000 on Saturday, added the donation will provide support and resources to the communities “influenced by the devastating flood.”
