Nick Jonas has explained how he and his brothers came up with the idea of making a Christmas movie.
The 33-year-old rock star, together with his brothers Joe and Kevin, made a film with the name A very Jones Christmas movie that came out on November 14.
While talking about the project, Jonas shared the idea behind making the film. It has a deep connection with the daughter Malti Marie.
The three brothers wanted to make their children proud with this film. They wanted to make something that their children could see later and share with their friends.
He elaborated: “We’re at a point in our lives and careers where we’re now 20 years into our careers and we still think there’s a long way to go.”
The Camp Rock star told additional, “But doing things like a Christmas movie, or when we make our albums or write our songs, we think about the long-term journey now, and our kids not only see it, but are proud of it and share it with their friends.”
Making a Christmas movie felt like giving their children something to remember them by, as such movies live forever.
“Christmas movies live forever and it was something we were really excited about”, added Nick.
In terms of work, the Jonas brothers have just finished the North American leg of their JONAS20 tour.
