After a lot of waiting, Nickelodeon and Avatar Studios have confirmed that a new series in the Avatar universe is in the works after The last airbender and The Legend of Korra.
Officially the title Seven garden, The show was announced to celebrate the 20th anniversary of the original series.
It will be set after the events in Korra and will focus “around a young earth bond that discovers that she is the new avatar.”
According to reports, it will have two seasons with 13 episodes each. Michael Dimartino and Bryan Konietzko are back to the show.
More details of the project have been kept under packaging, but what has been confirmed is that the shooting has begun.
While the official logline of the series sounds, “Avatar: Seven Havens is set in a world that is not its savior.”
“Hunting of both human and spirit enemies, she and her long lost twin must reveal their mysterious origin and save the seven end up before the last fortress of civilization collapse,” it noted.
