Nicolas Cage recently became honest about the role that made him feel “naked.”

In a new chat with The GuardianNicola Cage was asked to reveal the performance that took him “the farthest out of” his “comfort zone”

In response, he referred to his 2022’s film and said I think the most difficult performance was the unbearable weight of massive talent. “

He continued to explain, “Because I played a character called Nick Cage and I couldn’t hide behind it.”

For those who are not daring, Nicolas in the film played a fictionalized version of himself named Nick Cage.

The film was about his anxiety about his career, his relationship with his ex -wife Olivia, played by Sharon Horgan, and his daughter Addy, played by Lily Mo Sheen and his public persona.

Nicolas, who elaborates on his discomfort while playing the role, admitted, “it was extremely uncomfortable.”

“I felt very naked and in some ways bothered that I even played a role that referred to himself as Nicolas or Nick Cage,” he concluded.

He praised such a device and added, “I am familiar with a hard rock band out of Australia called Nicolas Cage Fighter and I think they are amazing.”
