Nicole Kidman may have just let a little too much slip about her upcoming film Practical magic 2.
While promoting her upcoming Prime Video series, Scarpettaat The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallonthe Oscar winner casually dropped a spoiler about Practical magic successor.
Although she didn’t reveal everything, her hints about what’s to come have already sparked speculation about the new film.
When asked if fans could expect the iconic midnight margaritas to return, the Baby girl star replied with a confident, “Oh yeah.”
“I hope you love the movie because the movie has a lot of witch love in it,” she said.
The term “witched love” could point to a new entrance for magical romance, sisterhood, or family ties.
It suggests that the sequel won’t be all about spells, but will likely return to the heart, humor and emotional charm that made the original a cult favorite.
Practical magic 2 is slated for release on September 11, and features the return of Sandra Bullock and Kidman, 58, as the iconic Owens sisters, Sally and Gillian.
Based on Alice Hoffman’s The Book of Magicis the upcoming romantic fantasy film produced by the stars and directed by Susanne Bier.
