Nicole Kidman has confirmed that the film shoot is wrapped Practical magic 2There is one behind the scenes video with Co-Star Sandra Bullock this weekend.
The couple, who first played the lead role together in the 1998 adaptation of Alice Hoffman’s novel, will recreate their roles as witch sisters Gillian and Sally Owens in the long-awaited successor.
In the clip sent to Instagram, Kidman and Bullock are seen laughing and jumping through a field at Sunset, set to Stevie Nicks’ re -recorded version CrystalA track shown in the original film’s soundtrack.
Kidman caption as the post, “It’s a wrapping on Practical Magic 2! Thanks to the role crew and crew for all your magic.”
In addition, the new movie, released on September 18, 2026, will see the return of Dianne Wieste and Stockard Channing as Aunt Jet and Aunt Frances along with Nykomere Joey King, Lee Pace, Maisie Williams, Xolo Maridueña and Solly McLeod.
However, an original role crew is not returning.
Evan Rachel Wood, who played Sally’s daughter Kylie in the first movie, revealed that she was not asked to surprise her role despite offering to attend.
Plot details remain under wrapping, although reports suggest that the story will pull from a later rate in Hoffmans Practical magic Book series. Director Susanne Bier wants the project.
