Ninja has just super-sized its iconic glass air fryer – and it can do a lot more than just make chips

  • The Ninja Crispi Pro Glass Air Fryer is now available in the UK for £249
  • It is a tabletop version of the portable Ninja Crispi with added features
  • These include new cooking modes Prove, Roast and Dehydrate

Ninja has just launched a new extra-large version of its portable glass air fryer, the Ninja Crispi. Unlike the original Crispi, which was a portable fryer for use on the go (at the office, a hotel room, or anywhere else with an outlet), the new Ninja Crispi Pro lives in your kitchen, where it can cook family-sized meals. You can even use it to cook a whole Sunday roast without an oven.

Ninja is known for making some of the best air fryers around – including the top-rated Ninja Double Stack – and the Crispi Pro is another winner. It received a near-perfect four and a half stars out of five from our reviewer Karen Freeman when it launched in the US thanks to its “quick and efficient cooking” that left the vegetables tender and the fries crispy.

“I made a dozen different foods using all the different cooking methods and everything I made turned out delicious,” Karen wrote in her Ninja Crispi Pro review.

Like the original Crispi, the Crispi Pro prepares your food in non-toxic glass containers. These have removable lids so you can also use them to store food before cooking and serve it when it’s done. The air fryer comes standard in two containers (5.7 liters and 2.3 liters) so you can cook and crisp different portions, and other sizes can be purchased separately.

The glassware is also dishwasher safe, another feature our reviewer particularly appreciated, “so you know they’re perfectly clean,” and has heat-resistant handles so you can safely move them as soon as you’re done cooking.

The Ninja Crispi Pro has three new cooking modes that you won’t find on the original Crispi. These include a Proofing setting, which provides a gentle heat for raising bread without disabling the yeast, Roast, which you can use to cook a whole chicken, and Dehydrate, for drying fruit or making jerky.
