- Ninja Luxe Café Premier Espresso Machine is available in two new colors
- In addition to silver you can now choose black or cyber space (navy blue)
- Luxe Café Premier -Edition has an assisted manipulation to reduce root
Ninja has given her best rated espresso machine a new look for August with two new color options. In addition to the original silver, Ninja Luxe Café Premier now comes in Smart Black with a satin finish and a shade of navy blue called cyber space.
We gave the original Ninja Luxe Café a score of four and a half stars out of five as we reviewed the last year thanks to its versatility and ease of use, and it has been beautiful in my Roundup of the best coffee machines ever since. It can brew both espresso and drip coffee and even make authentic tasting cold brewing and it is refreshingly simple to use.
The Premier edition goes one step further than the original, with a guided manipulation, which means you do not need to remove the portafilter handle from under the grinder to be tamped. Instead, just pull the handle down on the left side of the machine and it will squeeze the coffee into a nicely formed puck for you without mess.
It is similar to the system used by the Sage Barista Imposition, and requires only minimal pressure on the handle to tamp the coffee evenly and equally satisfactory.
Turn to the dark side
We have seen a tendency for more natural colors in kitchen appliances this year, starting with KitchenAid’s announcement that a soft yellow called butter would be its color of 2025. KitchenAid also launched a stand mixer in a mashed green with a walnut wood, while Smeg gave his espresso machines a new look with a softer shade of cracked white, Brass.
Ninja’s modern -looking black and silver accented marine machines go against the grain, but according to my colleagues in homes and gardens, Chrome Hardware is comeback, so maybe it’s in front of the basket.
