Indie the start time of the world
Let’s start with the really simple but really crucial things: When the showcase starts.
Nintendo confirmed that Indie World Showcase will begin at the usual time of 1 p.m.
It will only run for approx. 15 minutes, so you don’t have to block plenty of time to catch this power.

Look at
Silksang -question …
This will probably not be the last time we’re talking about Silksang, But the big question today is: do we get to see Silk song In Indie World Showcase?
Here at Techradar Gaming we are shared on it. Some of us think it’s just too close to Gamescom now that it has been confirmed that the game will be playable – and probably shown under a showcase of some kind.
While others on our team believe that an excerpt or a short look will be enough to keep this hype at full speed.
I don’t think we’ll see a huge amount of game if it’s present today but something would be excellent.
What else can we see?
Away from the potential Silk song-The-shaped elephant in space, what else could we see? Well, we’ve done some brainstorming here and have a few ideas about what might look like, but also what we hope to appear …
Hope: Blue Prince to change?
An indie -shaped message we hope for is to see Blue Prince Make the jump over to switch and/or change 2.
Puzzle Adventure Game took the world by storm earlier this year and is one of the highlights of 2025 so far. It’s a perfect game for the handheld character of the Switch consoles, and we can’t imagine it’s a drain on even the older console hardware.
What absolutely welcome addition to the Switch Library would this be.

Hope: Maybe a Hades 2 Full Release Date of Switch 2
Another thing we have speculated is whether we might get a full release Hades 2 Release date …
It’s not a bad cry and Hades Games are definitely knocking on Switch Console.
I am with my Nintendo fan Pal Josie, an expert in all things Nintendo, so she will probably guide you through the show itself while I myself (Rob) and another colleague watch, take some snaps and fill this live blog with other information.

Mina the Hollower
Start us strong, we have Mina the Hollower.
With a adorable Mousey protagonist, Mina the Hollower comes from the creators of Hollow Knight. It looks funny, but we don’t have much to get off here!
Neverway is made by Pixel Artist of Celeste
Neverway, made by the Pixel artist from Celeste, looks like a darker, lightly post-apocalyptic Stardew Valley.
There is even a mention of “paying debt”, so I hope Tom Nook knows he has some competition there.
Herling
Have you ever dreamed of occupying yak-like beings? Well, Calicorns fit the bill and in flocks your job is to rise to the top of a mountain range. It looks amazing and I can’t wait to see how it’s running on Switch 2!
Little Kitty, big city
This is one I’ve been waiting for for a long time; Little Kitty, big city is like a nicer, more uplifting version of StrayWhere you adventurer around a suitable metropolis, like, you guess it, a little kitty. Now with a free update there are some fun customization features and a new camera mode that I can’t wait to try!
Ball x Pit
This rogue-like block switch in Arcarde style sees you restore new ball-bylon, but for me I look more sensory overload waiting to happen. With tonnes of lockability, hopefully will not age too quickly.
Glaciered
Games as a developed foreign species developed from dinosaur in glaciered, an underwater adventure with real -time fighting mechanics and ample exploration about Everwinter’s oceans.

Short and sweet, as promised, that’s all we get this time! As we feared there is none Silk song Not either Hades II, But there is nevertheless a good amount to be excited about in there. We go over some of these games that are recorded in more detail soon!

This simple and cute puzzle sees you matching seats in different environments for the needs of cute little mold people. It’s not too complex, but it’s a fun addition to your library if you like portable games!

We’ve updated this page to have a list of everything that was announced and shown in Indie World Showcase, by the way, if you’re looking for a one-stop shop with information.
There were some solid messages today but maybe not the crowdpleasers we were hoping for but my top choices are determined Little Kitty, Big City, Herling and Neverway.
Let’s start with Little Kitty, big city. As I mentioned earlier, this is one that I have had my eyes on since the earliest teasers appeared on X (back in Yore’s days when it was still Twitter). I loved StrayAnd I have always found it amazing how the fascinating, mysterious lives of our cat friends are not more often documented in play. I reckon I will love the more light -hearted alternative Little Kitty, big city Offer.
My Top 3: Herdling
Next up on my personal hit list is bunch, giving me the mood of Shadow of the Colossus meet Travel In its tone and art style.
While the post-apocalyptic attitude can be a bit the same, I love the concept of the game, and from what we have seen in this trailer, there is much more than just walking around in a barren world.
My top 3: neverway
Eventually I have got to touch Neverway From Coldblood Studio. My first non-first-party switch game was Celeste, Which had an in -depth influence on me at the time, largely because of its beautiful art style.
This Pixel Action-Game-Cee breed looks beautiful, even with the slightly gloomy art style. It is filled with a number of richly detailed characters, unlocking fighting skills and punchy battle sequences, providing an excellent title that feels at home on my Switch 2.
Ultimate Sheep Racoon
Here’s one I missed earlier: Ultimate Sheep Racoon. Probably because I just assumed it was a random collection of words but can you blame me?
Offers up to 8-player co-op, this whacky racer looks Happy wheelscome-Party animals, Comes to change and change 2 in the winter of 2025.
What did you think?
We thought it was a pretty good indie world exhibition window; Neither pioneering nor really overwhelming.
The lack of Silk song Can disappoint some people, but in reality I’m not so surprised.
