Nintendo’s Best Switch 2 message was its gamecube -game launches but buying the new gamecube -Controller will be a challenge

Nintendo’s biggest Nintendo Switch 2 Direct event was filled with game releases but forget about Mario Kart WorldFromsoftware’s new Duskbloods and the cute five seconds of Silk song Recordings for a minute and help celebrate the two actual biggest messages: Pokémon Coliseum and Pokémon XD: Gale of Darkness Hits the new console (along with other Gamecube games).

With limited options to catch and train your Pokémon Companions add a real challenge compared to the core series combined with some incredible music and a unique plot, these spinoffs are my favorites in the whole Pokémon series.

And after having the wrong placement of my copy of Gale of Darkness (which is very expensive to replace in the secondary market) I am very excited to play both of these titles soon again.

They are released via a new Gamecube added to Nintendo Switch Online + Expansion Pack. This extended version of the online subscription includes access to DLC and excluding classic console game libraries (including N64 and Gameboy Advance) for $ 49.99 / £ 34.99 / AU $ 59.95 a year.

The only disadvantage of Pokémon Fans are that although these two best in the spinoffs class has been confirmed to launch at the service at some point, they will not be available at the new console.

Instead, The Legend of Zelda: Wind WakerAt Soul Caliber 2, and F-Zero GX Will be the first trio of Gamecube titles to hit the service on Switch 2’s launch date.

One thing to note is that it seems that the Nintendo Switch Original players with a Nintendo Switch Online + Expansion Pack can’t access these Gamecube titles. Instead, the Gamecube extension will be exclusive to Nintendo’s latest console.

To capture the authentic Gamecube experience, Nintendo announced that it will release a wireless Gamecube controller (complete with the new C -button) for £ 58.99 (probably about $ 75 based on exchange rates; Nintendo has not yet confirmed a US price).

It will only be available through the MyNintendo Online Store, and-to make things more frustrating-you will only be able to pre-order one if you are a Nintendo Switch online member, and initially it will “only be offered those invited to pre-order a Nintendo Switch 2 Console” according to the Mynintendo UK store.

This is probably a step to prevent scalpers from sucking up all stocks before anyone else can respond, so just be prepared to jump through some hangers if you are eager to get this Switch 2 Gamecube accessories.
