- A new Nintendo FCC archiving suggests a new pro -controller is in the works
- This filing indicates that the device will contain Bluetooth, NFC and a headphone jack
- Fans believe this can be a new pro -Controller for Nintendo Switch 2
Nintendo Switch 2 Direct is finally released today, and it seems that a new FCC archiving has given us an idea of what could be waiting for the showcase.
FCC archiving was first discovered Famiboards(Via Gonintendo) and is labeled under the product code “Bee-008”, which appears to confirm the existence of a new game controller.
This device seems to offer Bluetooth and NFC, which fans think would make this a brand new pro controller. The most notable part of the archiving, however, is that the device also has a headphone jack, a feature that was not included in the original Switch -Pro -Controller and something the players have wanted for years.
In addition, it seems that this Pro controller will use a new battery, as the original poster says, is “different from everything I pay attention to for Switch 1 or Switch 2”, which may mean that the Switch Pro Controller battery has been retired.
It is worth mentioning that all this is just speculation for now, as Nintendo has not yet officially announced a new pro controller for its new console. If a new gamepad is in the works, today’s Nintendo Direct would be the perfect place for a reveal.
The long -awaited Nintendo Switch 2 Direct Showcase is scheduled to be released today at 1 p.m. 9 ET / 06:00 PT / 14:00 BST and will be “about 60 minutes long”. Nintendo is likely to offer new details of the console’s prices and pre -orders as well as showcase an in -depth look at the console and possibly new software, like the new Mario Kart game.
