- We can expect it nothing phone 3 in Q3
- July works a good effort based on previous launches
- We already have the phone 3A and Phone 3A Pro
We’ve been waiting for a while on that no phone 3 – you remember its launch being pushed back last year because nothing wanted more time to work on its software and AI – but we now know it will definitely arrive this year.
After opening a ‘Ask me something’ session at X, no CEO Carl Pei said Nothing Phone 3 would be launched in “Q3”, the third quarter of this year. It sets the launch window like July, August or September.
We didn’t get more details than that, unfortunately, so it’s left to look exactly when the next flagship phone from nothing looks. Nothing Phone 2 was launched in July 2023, which can give us a little.
Back in November last year, we heard a tip that nothing would launch three phones in the middle of this year, which means around June and July time – and nothing Phone 3A and Nothing Phone 3A Pro were both revealed in March 2025.
The story so far
If nothing had kept to a regular schedule we would have seen Nothing Phone 3 in July 2024. However, in June 2024, Pei announced that the launch of the handset would be pushed back to this year, emphasizing the need to “get the product right”.
Pei continued to say that “the integration of hardware and AI in a way that is both useful and brings a smile to people’s faces” was the goal of the next no flagship phone so we can expect to see a bundle of artificial intelligence features included.
As our Nothing Phone 3A Pro review will tell you, there are already plenty of AI aboard the current no handset – but these features, including the important space ‘other memory’, could still use some work. Improvements can arrive with Nothing Phone 3.
From the leaks we have come across so far, it sounds like Nothing Phone 3 will be a significant upgrade of its predecessor and possibly one of this year’s phones. In a few months we should know for sure.
