The Kremlin has said that there is no fixed deadline for peace talks between Russia and Ukraine as a process for Moscow and Kyiv to develop a unified text for a peace and ceasefire memorandum will be complex.
The Kremlin spokesman Dmitry Peskov in comments published early on Tuesday explained that the creation of a final peace agreement will take time because the details are complicated. Both sides will have to write and exchange drafts before they agree on a final version.
“There are no deadlines and there can be no one. It is clear that everyone wants to do this as soon as possible, but of course the devil is in the details,” quoted Ria State News Agency Peskov as narrative journalists.
“The drafts will be formulated by both the Russian and Ukrainian pages, these draft documents will be exchanged, and then – complex contacts to develop a single text,” the Kremlin said.
