No easing of tension in Torkham

Peshawar:

The Afghan Taliban and the Pakistani security forces on Tuesday dealt with a heavy three -wing at Torkham border on the second day in a row, leaving two Taliban soldiers died and six wounded.

People living near the border in both Afghanistan and Pakistan began to leave their homes due to firing from both sides. Pakistan authorities have also advised the people who live near the boundary to take precautions.

The Pakistani security forces and the Afghan Taliban warriors on Monday exchanged fire at the Main Torkham border crossing after their failed negotiations to open the cross again.
