The Supreme Court of Pakistan’s senior Puisne -Judge Justice Mansoor Ali Shah has noticed that when ‘he has done nothing wrong, why should he fear references filed against him.’
The comments came during an informal conversation with journalists after the Eda Ceremony for seven newly appointed judges to the Supreme Court, Express News reported.
Justice Shah emphasized his faith and said “Allah is the protector” while answering a question of rumors of references against him.
In the sincere exchange, Justice Shah also mentioned that those who question the judges’ work should consider the case register available on the Supreme Court website. He added that his work and the court’s decisions were public record, which highlighted the effectiveness of handling cases.
“There is no personal enmity or conflict with anyone,” said Justice Shah. “If the elephant in the room is not seen, what can we say?” He also emphasized the cordial relationships with other judges and said they often met and shared tea together.
Earlier today, the Chief Justice of Pakistan Yahya Redidi Oath Oath Oath managed to six newly appointed judges at the Supreme Court during a formal ceremony.
The oath that took the ceremony, then the sword of Justice Aamir Farooq, Justice Shafi Siddiqui, Justice Hashim Kakar, Justice Ishtiaq Ibrahim, Justice Salahuddin, Justice Shakeel Ahmed and Ad Hoc Judge Justice Hassan.
The event was attended by the Supreme Court judges, the lawyer, senior lawyers, journalists, judges and office carriers from the Supreme Court’s Bar Association and Pakistan wore Council.
Separately, President Asif Ali Zardari will administer ED to IHC’s functioning Chief Justice Sarfaraz Dogar.
