After India beat New Zealand to secure the title, four officials were part of the presentation ceremony, including Jay Shah, ICC chairman, two from BCCI, one from New Zealand Cricket, but none from PCB. Apart from Shah, the officials present BCCI President Roger Binny, BCCI secretary Devajit Saikia and NZC director Roger Twose. It is not usual for representatives of nations playing the final to perform in ICC ceremonies after tournament, unless the final involves the host country.
