- Nothing has released yet another cryptic teaser, probably attached to Nothing Phone 3
- The X-Lookup is proposing a reveal date of March 4
- We are not sure if the teaser is showing a new camera system or new buttons
Nothing has released yet another cryptic teaser that probably suggests the upcoming Nothing Phone 3, as a leaked internal note called the company’s first flagship.
The company shared a video for X (formerly Twitter) showing off … Yes, it doesn’t show much. We have been treated with a picture of a circle over an elongated rounded rectangle that forms a small “in” form on a black background.
Looking closer, a darker strip that runs from the top to the bottom of the square image is revealed, which potentially suggests that these circular features are mounted on the phone’s side. As the video continues, the edges of the collection light up in a way reminiscent of the company’s iconic Glyph design.
Furthermore, the Post Text of the post could propose a detection date for the new Nothing flagship. The caption reads: “Power in Perspective. March 4 10:00 GMT.”
This indicates a detection date on March 4 for the new phone, but in addition, what this means at the moment is anyone’s guess. However, the image displayed in the video looks like a typical smartphone camera house, similar to what is found on the Google Pixel 9 Pro, only rotated 90 degrees.
So far, we could read this teaser which suggests that Nothing Phone 3 comes with three cameras instead of the two-camera system found on Nothing Phone and Nothing Phone 2.
This would give some more weight to the “first flagship” comment found in the leaked internal note we previously reported, as Triple camera systems are generally found only on flagship phones with higher specifications or pro-level.
A third camera would probably be an ultravid lens, in accordance with other first-class flagships such as the iPhone 16 Pro Max, Google Pixel 9 Pro and Samsung Galaxy S25 series.
However, a closer look at the teaser reveals that this glyf seems to be mounted on the side of something – it is the background of a thin strip of dark gray against the completely black frame.
This would suggest either a side -mounted camera system (as strange as it is unlikely) or a new pair of buttons for the supposed upcoming phone.
Maybe nothing follows the trend of the iPhone 16’s camera control by adding a trigger button to its next flagship phone. Likewise, we could look at something much more banal, such as the volume button and on/off button. It looks like we have plenty of time for nothing to reveal more until March 4th rolls around.
Nothing has recently released two other teasers, one uses the company’s Nothingos widgets and the other shows the Pokémon character Arcanine.
Our Nothing Phone 2 review found that the phone was “fat enough to be different and powerful enough to recommend”. If Nothing Phone 3 can do the same while lifting the phone to real Premium standards, I wouldn’t be surprised to see it join our list of the best Android phones.
