Pakistan Tehreek-E-Insaf (PTI) Leader Barrister Salman Akram Raja has rejected claims from lawyer Saif regarding the denial of Sehri to Pakistan Tehreek-In-Insaf (PTI) founder IMRAN Khan, reported Express News.
In a speech with the media outside the Adiala prison on Tuesday, Raja rejected rumors of Khan’s health and said the former prime minister underwent routine control and is in good health.
He also rejected claims that Imran Khan was denied Suhoor or prevented from observing religious practice. “There is no truth to the requirements of lawyer Saif,” he said. He added that PTI leader Sheikh Waqas Acram should ask with Saif about the need to make such an irresponsible statement.
Raja emphasized that Khan is in prison for the sake of the nation and has no complaints about his party. “We discussed our next course of action today, and Imran Khan has issued instructions,” he said.
He also clarified that Choudhry Zaheer Abbas has been appointed Khan’s lawyer for all legal affairs in connection with the prison, while some individuals have tried to improve their political stature through legal practice. He instructed that all petitions were handed over to Abbas.
Raja concluded by stating that individuals assigned to Khan’s responsibility should focus on their political tasks. He also announced the appointment of Niazullah Niazi as the official spokesman for PTI, where Bushra Bibi appointed four focal people to help with his work.
Raja also approached the opposition alliance and expressed respect for Maulana Fazlur Rehman and said Khan had issued certain directives of his admission to the alliance, which Raja will communicate to him.
