Lahore:
Punjab Provincial Disaster Management Authority (PDMA) reported on Wednesday that the total water flow in the province’s rivers remained normal, with only two locations on the Sutlej River, which experienced low-level floods.
According to PDMA’s Daily River Situation Report, the river Ravi usually flowed across all key points.
At Jassar, the stream of water is registered at 20,000 CUSERCS, while Shahdara reported 22,000 CUSSCS. At Balloki head works, the power reached 43,000 CUSERCS, and Sidhnai -headworks registered 46,000 CUSSCS.
Meanwhile, the river Sutlej continues to carry a flood on medium-sized Ganda Singh Wala, where the emissions have reached 108,000 CUSERCS, while a low-level flood was registered at Sulemanki headworks with a discharge of 81,000 CUSSCS.
The river Chenab also flows within normal borders. At Marala, the stream of water was 57,000 CUSERCS, while Qadirabad registered 70,000 CUSSCS, and KHANKI head works recorded a discharge of 75,000 CUSSCS.
At Trimmu’s headwork, the water flow stood at 9,000 CUSERCS, and Panjnad reported 28,000 CUSSCS.
