- Nothing has announced its new CMF Phone Pro 2
- It will be launched 6 May and starts at $ 279 / £ 219 (around AU $ 460)
- Nothing gave us new CMF buds 2, knobs 2 plus and buds 2A
After its teaser earlier this month, nothing has revealed its CMF Phone 2 Pro and new CMF buds 2 (along with Buds 2 Plus and Bud 2A), and this new smartphone has the potential to land right away on our best cheap phone guide.
Why? Well, Phone 2 Pro’s Basic Model (8 GB RAM / 128 GB storage space) costs only £ 219 (it’s not available in the US Beta Program), and the upgraded setting comes in only $ 279 / £ 249 (around AU $ 520) for 8 GB RAM / 256 GB
At the same time, it boasts some surprisingly impressive sounding specifications. We are talking about a four-camera setup including a 50MP head sensor on the back and 16MP selfie camera and improved processor over the CMF phone 1, which is 10% faster and offers a 5% graphics improvement. There is also a battery that nothing says can deliver close to two full days of use on a single charge.
More specifically, this battery apparently will last in “47 hours of voice calls, 22 hours of YouTube or 10 hours Battlegrounds Mobile India Gaming. “
Riktignok has phone 2 pro a few weaknesses explaining the lower price tag. Its ultra-covering camera is only 8MP and the processor’s maximum watch speeds are slower than you would find on an iPhone 16 or Samsung Galaxy S25 (though they are on par with other budget options).
It also has only an IP54 sustainability assessment rather than the IP68 classification that most other phones offer, which means it is not as dust or water repellent as its rivals (probably because of its customized design).
Obviously, we will have to test it to the fullest before we set aside the final judgment, but with such a low price for entry it will not take much for CMF Phone Pro 2 to win us round. If you are eager to pick up that ASAP, pre -orders are already live – with the new phone that is officially launched on May 6th.
Affordable sounding too
If you are not in the market for a budget phone, nothing also announced just three pairs of CMF buds to those who need some affordable audio settings.
The default model is the new CMF buds 2.
Want to use a little less? CMF knobs 2A cost only $ 49 / £ 29 (around AU $ 60) and comes with an input level-with less powerful ANC. Meanwhile, if you have a slightly larger budget, you can spray out of $ 69 / £ 49 (approx. AU $ 100) CMF knobs 2 Plus, which is equipped with “Hi-Res LDAC, Hearing Compensation and Full EQ adaptation” for that which declares nothing “next level audio experience.”
We will need to test these earplugs for ourselves to understand what they are capable of, but our three-and-a-half-star CMF of Nothing Bud review was generally positive-to call the earbuds “stylish” and “tempting cheap.”
That said, we found their “medium -sized” sound performance and the ANC left something to be desired.
Hopefully these new models will be delivered with some necessary upgrades, but you may want to endure until reviews are published to know if these buds are worth your time, rather than getting into the already open pre -orders prior to their release on May 6.
