- Nothing has released a video pointing to a launch on March 4 to Nothing Phone 3
- The video also suggests that this phone may have a television camera
- It’s labeled by an advanced handset and could see it competing with Galaxy S25
The Nothing telephone line has so far shown mid-range devices, but it could all change this year, with a newly leaked memo that suggests that nothing was working on a more advanced phone. That memo pointed to many AI skills, but did not tell us much else – but now nothing has teased a bigger hardware upgrade that we might see on the phone 3.
In a post on X, nothing has shared a short video that simply zooms in on the face of no CEO Carl Pei. He works on a computer in the video while wearing sunglasses and you can clearly see the words “Start 4 March” is reflected in the lens.
This basically confirms that the company’s next phone is announced on March 4, but based on a previous Nothing Phone 3 teaser, we were already pretty sure.
A zoom with view
The more exciting aspect of this video is the way the camera zooms in as it looks like the camera is switching from a wide lens to a tele to achieve zoom. It is interesting because no current no phone has a telecommunications lens.
This is not the only tip we have had that such a lens could be added when a previous teaser suggested that Nothing Phone 3 (or whatever Handset Called) could have a triple-lining camera and the obvious addition to the wide and Ultra -covering lens setup found on Nothing Phone 2 would be a telephoto camera.
This is also very much a flagship feature and it is something that could see Nothing Phone 3 compete with the Samsung Galaxy S25, which in itself has a triple-lens camera with a telecommunications lens in the mixture. It’s a feature that even like Google Pixel 9 and iPhone 16 is missing, so at least at least Nothing Phone 3 could have an edge over these phones.
We say Nothing Phone 3, but the company has not confirmed what handset it suggests in all these teasers, so it may be something else – including possibly a Nothing Phone 3 Pro, which source has claimed.
Not much else is known about this handset yet, but with a March 4 -launch scheduled, we need to find out all that is to know soon – and know nothing, the company is likely to suggest or reveal some additional specifications and features prior to launch .
