NSC authorizes the military to beat India on its own terms

The National Security Committee (NSC) on Wednesday approved the armed forces in Pakistan to take on similar actions in response to Indian air strikes that targeted several civilian areas.

The NSC declaration comes in the wake of coordinated missile, air and drone strikes launched by the Indian armed forces during the night of 6 -7 May. The attacks reportedly targeted several placements in Punjab and Azad Jammu and Kashmir, including Sialkot, Shakargarh, Murideke, Bahawalpur, Kotli and Muzaffarabad.

The strikes resulted in the deaths of civilians and children – including women and children – and damage to civil infrastructure such as mosques and a hydroelectric facility.

“The night of May 6, 2025, the Indian armed forces launched coordinated missile, air and drone strikes in several places in Pakistan’s sovereign territory, including Sialkot, Shakargarh, Murideke and Bahawalpur in Punjab, Kotli and Muzaffarabad in Azad Jammu and Kashmir,” Reading. “

“These unprovoked and unjustified attacks deliberately targeted the civilian areas of the false pretext of the presence of imaginary terrorist camps, resulting in the martyrdom of innocent men, women and children and causing harm to civilian infrastructure, including mosques,” added it.

The forum also noted that India’s aggression also caused serious danger to commercial carriers belonging to Brotherly Gulf countries that jeopardized thousands of passengers. In addition, the Neelum-Jhelum waterpower project was also deliberately targeted in violation of international conventions.

NSC named the attacks “unprovoked, feige and illegal acts of war” and emphasized that it reserves the right to respond in accordance with Article 51 of the UN Charter-AS confirming the right of a Member State to self-defense.

The statement added that Pakistan Air Force had shut down five Indian fighter jets and a drone during its defensive operations and confirmed the country’s emergency preparedness to respond to further provocations. It also criticized India for jeopardizing international civil aviation and violating international humanitarian norms by targeting civilian areas.

“Pakistan has emphatically rejected Indian claims that claimed the presence of terror camps on its territory,” the statement added.

NSC further said that Pakistan made a sincere offer of a credible, transparent and neutral investigation immediately after April 22. The international media staff had already visited these “imaginary terrorist camps” on May 6, 2025, and several visits were planned in May 7 2025.

However, the Indian leadership is entrusted with being exposed to, and without a wealth of evidence of its claims, has now gone to the extent that attacking innocent civilians to satisfy his lost thoughts and short -sighted political goals, it added.

NSC called on the international community to take notice, called on NSC global powers to hold India responsible for what it described as a deliberate escalation with potential regional consequences.
