- Nvidias RTX 5060 TI and RTX 5060 are allegedly set to launch in March
- This will directly compete with AMDS RADEON RX 9000 -Serie launch
- We could see a repeat in this generation of 8 GB VRAM with RTX 5060
NVIDIAS RTX 5000 -SERIE GPU -launch is well underway with RTX 5090 and RTX 5080 now sold out at virtually any retailer (surprising), and Team Green seems to roll the rest of his set up very soon -which means that means that means that The most important rival AMD can be set for a great fight.
As reported by Toms Hardware, the RTX 5060 TI and RTX 5060 are allegedly set to launch in March according to Chinese hardware manufacturer Chaintech. This is when the AMDS Radeon RX 9000 Series GPU lineup is intended to launch, which would eventually put Team Green and Team Red in direct competition-AMD already made it clear that mid-range GPUs will be its focus , and the new XX60 -Class NVIDIA card could probably challenge them.
We are awaiting details of the pricing of the RX 9000 series along with how powerful they could be compared to the previous RX 7900 XT and XTX GPUs – considering the official pricing of Nvidia’s RTX 5070 ($ 549 / £ 549 / AU $ 1.109), prices for RTX 5060 ten and 5060 could be much lower. Depending on the results of these GPUs, AMD could win the middle-class as long as the prices for its next gene GPUs are reasonable.
Can we just finish with 8 GB GPUs please?
Looking at both NVIDIs and AMD’s low and mid -range GPUs, my only hope is that we can finally say goodbye to 8 GB of VRAM as a baseline industry standard. Games are becoming more and more vigorous, and players need any benefit possible considering how bad PC ports have been recently. I think at least 12 GB of VRAM is needed for modern PC games – even at 1 p.m. 1080p – but unfortunately it doesn’t look like it will happen.
EEC archives from Maxsun suggest that the RTX 5060 will use 8 GB of VRAM, which may mean that it ends up following in the same footprints as its predecessor – this will be disappointing to put it mildly, especially since Intels affordable New battlemage GPUs have chosen to give the 8GB of figures trunk.
Intel Arc B570 uses 10 GB of VRAM, while its big brother B580 DONS 12GB VRAM- these are both considered budget- for mid-range GPUs capable of 1440p games. While the rumor 8 GB RTX 5060 is likely to do the same using DLSS 4 and Multi frame generation, the relatively low amount of Vram would be a concern for those looking for an affordable way into the RTX 5000 series.
Nothing has been confirmed by Nvidia’s part of RTX 5060 TI or 5060, but let’s hope these VRAM rumors are false. But with RTX 5070 and 5070 TI, scheduled for release later this month, March is determined as a reasonable launch window for the budget Blackwell GPUs.
