You know when you get a word in the first second that you are in for an easy run and that was the case for me today after getting the KOMB the moment I looked at the board.
That’s not to say I didn’t hit a few bumps in the road.
At first I could see that the spanframe started with INTHE, but it took me a while to complete INTHEMIRROR. Then I caught “beauty” coming back as a non-play word, not realizing first that we were looking for BEAUTY.

Strands is the NYT’s not-so-new-anymore word game, following Wordle and Connections. It’s now a full-fledged member of NYT’s game stable that’s been running for a year and can be played on the NYT Games site on desktop or mobile.
