The late night-comedian accused Conservatives of reaching “new low lower” on Monday in an attempt to establish a leftist ideology of 22-year-old suspected Tyler Robinson, though prosecutors confirmed these ties in Tuesday’s indictment.

“We hit some new low low over the weekend with the Maga Band, desperately trying to characterize this child who murdered Charlie Kirk as something other than one of them and does everything they can to score political points from it,” Kimmel said.

Kimmel’s comments came one day after both the FBI officials and Utah Prime Minister Spencer Cox said Robinson had a “leftist ideology” and became increasingly radicalized in recent years. It was also revealed that he had a romantic relationship with a transgender partner who was biologically male and switched to her. The comments from Kimmel pulled massive setbacks.

Nexstar Media Group said it would prevent Kimmel’s shows at its ABC -associated companies with other programming. Sinclair called for more action over the comments.

Liberal rages as ABC pulls Jimmy Kimmel out of the air after Charlie Kirk Assassin Comments

The Federal Communications Commission (FCC) Chairman Brendan Carr, a Trump -appointed, issued a threat to Disney on Wednesday if it did not deal with the controversy. Carr described Kimmel’s comments as “the sickest behavior”, suggesting that there were potential “ways” that FCC could pursue during an interview about “The Benny Show”, hosting the conservative commentator and podcaster Benny Johnson.

When the Kimel Show was drawn on Wednesday night, much of the reaction came on Thursday.

“After many years of complaint about cancellation culture, the current administration has led it to a new and dangerous level by routinely threatening legislative actions against media companies, unless they marrow or fire reporters and commentators it does not like,” Obama wrote on X.
