The controversy of the sustenance of PTI leaders Omar Ayub Khan and Shibli Faraz took a new reversal when Barrister Gohar Ali Khan on Saturday challenged Peshawar High Court’s decision in the Supreme Court.
PHC had previously suspended ECP’s review, which matters both legislators after they were convicted. However, the court later lifted the order order and postponed the case.
Barrister Gohar claimed that the High Court’s direction was unjustified and had to be set aside, maintaining that both leaders had exerted their legal right to appeal before the competent forums.
