Islamabad:
Pakistan Airports Authority (on) on Sunday refused media reports who claimed that Islamabad International Airport will be closed for eight days, paying them “wrong and misleading”.
The authority said that air operations will only be suspended in two hours intervals on certain days to facilitate repetitions to independence day celebrations on August 14, reported PTV with reference to a statement from on.
According to a message to airmen (notam) issued by on, temporary flight restrictions will apply in the course of 6 to 9 August from 1 p.m. 11 to 13 and 11 to 13 August from 7 p.m. 20 to 22.
