Pakinomist Reports that the agreement was completed in May 2025 after months of negotiations, citing a named source familiar with the case.
The finer details of its Google Cloud agreement are unknown, but the move reflects Openai’s efforts to reduce its addiction to a single supplier – in this case, Microsoft – after recently announcing his own Stargate project of $ 500 billion earlier in 2025.
