Opposition alliance calls for United Front to tackle challenges

Islamabad: Opposition parties on Tuesday reached a consensus that the ruling national crisis requires overall efforts from all democratic forces to control the country against stability and improvement, The news reported.

Tehreek Tahafuz Aiyeen-E-Pakistan Chief Mahmood Khan Achakzai hosted a dinner in honor of opposition leaders and gathered the most important political figures.

It participated by Maulana Fazlur Rehman, Asad Qaiser, opposition leader in the National Assembly Omar Ayub Khan, Shahid Khaqan Abbasi, Allama Nasir Abbas, SaHibzada Hamid Raza, Shibli Faraz, Sardar Latif Khosa, Mustafa Nawaz Khokhar, Junaid Akbar, Atif Khan, atif Khan, atif Khan, SHAHRAM, SN Ardar Shafiq Tareen, Aslam Ghori, Akhunzada Hussain and other leaders.

The leaders expressed surprise at the meeting of the International Monetary Fund (IMF) delegation with Chief Justice of Pakistan (CJP) Yahya Afridi and said it was unprecedented.

They also expressed concern about the country’s financial situation and said how the economy could improve where there is no rule of law and a justice system.

The opposition leaders were deeply concerned about the law and the order situation across the country, including Khyber Pakhtunkhwa and Balochistan. They accused that the federal government had completely failed to protect people’s lives and property.

They also agreed to hold an all-party conference in the future to improve mutual connections and tackle the challenges facing the country and to establish a management committee to prepare a national agenda.

They also decided to set up a management committee, led by Abbasi, to prepare a national agenda. The committee includes Qaiser, Faraz, Murtaza, Khokhar, Raza, Tareen, Shirazi, Talmund and Akhunzada.

The opposition leaders repeated the demand for their first meeting last week that transparent and free elections should be held immediately in the country and that the Election Commission should immediately resign and an independent commission should be established.

The meeting condemned the serious violation of basic human rights in the country and demanded that all political prisoners, including Imran Khan, be released immediately.
