Opposition lawmakers vow to continue the sit-in until the jailed PTI leader is moved for trial
ISLAMABAD:
Opposition lawmakers’ sit-in outside Parliament House and KP House entered its third day on Sunday as protesters demanded that jailed PTI founder Imran Khan get urgent medical treatment for his eye ailment. The demonstration began on Friday and has continued despite the government’s assurances.
Lawmakers, led by National Assembly Opposition Leader Mahmood Khan Achakzai and Senate Opposition Leader Allama Nasir Abbas, vowed the sit-in would not end until Khan was moved to specialist treatment. Protesters have cited reports that the vision in his right eye has deteriorated significantly and required treatment in the presence of his family and personal doctors.
The police deployed barbed wire and blocked access roads to the KP house, and media personnel have not been allowed access to the protest sites. Unionists said provisions such as food and water were limited for lawmakers inside Parliament House.

However, PTI rejected any transfer without the consent of family members and personal doctors.

We do NOT accept any medical board they create and control!
We do NOT accept any reports or results that…
