With the Balochistan question that dominated discussions in the National Assembly, the Lower House on Friday saw the Fiery exchanges as PTI parliamentary leader Zartaj Gul tore into the government over his handling of terrorism and the deteriorating security situation in the province.
During a debate about the presidential address and Balochistan, yellow grief over the Jaffar Express -Terroric attack, which claimed the lives of more passengers and security staff.
She complained that although surgery against attackers was successful, terrorism continued to spiral out of control despite the Ministry of the Interior being overcrowded with half a dozen ministers.
“When the routine agenda was postponed yesterday, we expected ministers to take the question seriously. But instead of discussing Balochistan, they engaged in personal attacks, ”she said.
Zartaj Yellow accused Defense Minister Khawaja Asif of using the floor to target PTI rather than tackle the crisis in Balochistan. “The defense minister who lost against Rehana Dar still has his position.”
The PTI leader noted that the Defense Minister often lectures others about morals and shame with the phrase “koi sharam, koi haya hoti hai”-the slogan popularized by the PML-N leader-but said it used more appropriate for him.
Zartaj Gul’s strong remarks came a day after NA fell into chaos after the opposition was denied the opportunity to discuss the deadly attack on Jaffer Express. PTI had required suspension of the questioning time to discuss the tragic incident.
On Friday, however, NA finally gave up space and approved a proposal to postpone the questioning time for the day.
PPP legislative Syed Naveed Qamar pointed out that it was agreed to hold the questioning time alongside the debate on the presidential address. Nevertheless, the NA -speaker Sardar Ayaz Sadiq determined that the session would continue with the questioning time postponed.
In a speech on the floor on Friday, Zartaj Yellow further claimed that 10,000 Pakistanis were deported from UAE in just 16 months, while the ministers asked for apartments in Burj Khalifa as a bribe. “Instead of accusing PTI of everything, the government had to show its own performance,” she claimed.
Judged President Asif Ali Zardari’s address, she said the 26th amendment forced was a shining example of undemocratic practice. “Why did the president continue to silence on the massacre on November 26?” She asked and referred to the government’s crash on PTI’s protest rally last year.
She slammed the government’s treatment of smaller provinces and asked, “How many times has the presidency opened her doors to Balochistan?”
She accused the president of exploiting Sindh’s water question for voices while ignoring injustices in other provinces.
Referring to the prison PTI Foundation Chairman Imran Khan said yellow: “They ask us not to mention prisoner No. 804, but he won the election and is the only leader to unite the four provinces”.
She added that despite being shot, Imran still declared: “This country is mine and the army is mine”.
Meanwhile, Jui-F legislator Usman Badin also condemned the assembly “youth behavior”. “Yesterday, 70-year-old lawmakers threw insults instead of discussing Balochistan.”
He painted a bleak picture of the provincial decades long deprivation and questioned why educated young people now turned into military and suicide bombs.
“Baloch youth bore once guns; today they span bombs to their bodies. Ask yourself: Who forced them into this?” He said and encouraged the house to decide once and for all how to address the crisis of Balochistan.
PML-N legislator Sheikh Aftab complained about the resurgence of terrorism and warned that Pakistan’s armed forces sacrificed daily victims.
“Nawaz Sharif convened an All Parties Conference (APC) to fight terrorism. The time has come for all political leaders to sit together and find a lasting solution,” he urged.
“If our children do not get jobs, they will be forced to participate in militant groups.”
PPP legislator Sehar Kamran repeated concerns about rising terrorism and demanded a terrorism strategy similar to that formed after the ApS attack.
She emphasized that education was imperative to fight extremism and emphasized the need to increase female literacy in particular.
The National Assembly Session was postponed until Monday at. 14.00.
