- Oracle CEO Safra Catz confirms a new, mysterious cloud contract worth $ 30 billion
- Last year’s total sky revenue amounted to $ 24.4 billion so it’s a big increase
- Oracle says it will soon spend big on infrastructure
Oracle has signed a Mystery Cloud contract worth over $ 30 billion annually, which would effectively more than twice the company’s current sky revenue.
CEO Safra Catz explained that the company had come to a “strong start” this financial year, after signing several large cloud agreements already.
Among these agreements, however, is a mystery contract, according to a new SEC archiving that is said to be worth “more than $ 30 billion,” leading investors who wonder who the agreement could be.
Oracle’s huge mystery cloud contract
Although the contract was signed in the company’s financial year in 2026, it will not come into play until 2028 – it is unclear if further details could be shared before then.
Among the most common suggestions for partners, Openai, who works with Oracle at Project Stargate, Temu, recently became Oracle customer, and Tiktok, who uses Oracle Cloud in the US.
Nevertheless, $ 30 billion in extra annual revenue is big news for Oracle. From the 2025 fiscal year, Oracle’s total cloud revenue was only $ 24.4 billion – less than this single mystery contract. Total business income increased by 8% years to years to $ 57.4 billion.
In other news, Oracle has also confirmed plans to build a $ 40 billion campus in Dallas for Dallas to Project Stargate, which delivers 400,000 NVIDIA GB200 GPUs for the project. The company also plans to spend up to $ 500 billion in infrastructure by 2029 to meet demand.
While the $ 30 billion contract will provide some stability for Oracle, capital costs rose triple from $ 7 billion to $ 21 billion in just one year.
Looking ahead, Oracle Sky Infrastructure Revenue predicts 70% growth at the end of this fiscal year, with business revenue climbing to an estimated $ 104 billion in the financial year 2029.
Techradar Pro Have asked Oracle for more information about the contract, but we do not expect to get an answer.
