David Zucker who instructed the original Naked gun Movies, shared his thoughts on the big debut of the restart.
In an interview with The Hollywood reporterThe 77-year-old filmmaker spoke to his support for the film after his nearly $ 30 million opening weekend.
“I’m excited about it because it just shows that there is a strong market for comedy in cinemas and especially forgery,” David said, revealing he haven’t seen the movie himself.
“People like it, which is good,” he added.
Later in the interview David also sang praise to the stream Naked gun Director, Akiva Schaffer.
“I already texted him and said, ‘I hear the reviews are big and it spures well,'” he said.
The Scary Movie 3 Director added that he has no plans to watch the new movie.
“I don’t want to see it, but I don’t see any of the successors that were of my material done by other people, and that’s fine,” David explained.
For those who are not daring, the fourth rate of The naked gun Franchise was released in cinemas on August 1, 2025.
Pamela Anderson and Liam Neeson play the lead roles in the film.
