Our favorite affordable audio brand’s new earphones have more drivers than a horse has legs

  • Five-driver design, aptX Lossless and LDAC
  • Adaptive ANC and wind-resistant design
  • $200 (approx £150 / AU$299)

We test a lot of earphones, and we’re consistently impressed with Soundpeat’s ability to deliver a lot of sound for the money with earphones like the Soundpeat’s H3. And the brand seems to have taken a few ideas from the likes of Gilette and BIC, who never met a razor they didn’t want to cram more blades into: where Soundpeat’s H3 had three drivers per earphone, the new Soundpeats Aura Nebula has five.

In addition to the five-driver setup, there’s an impressive specification including lossless and LDAC audio, adaptive hybrid ANC and a wind-resistant design for clear calls. And the price tag is very competitive: just $200 (roughly £150 or AU$299 – which is cheaper than Apple’s flagship AirPods).
