While not coming as a surprise, the drama has been in full Outlander: blood of my blood. Without giving too much away, section 5 of the Starz Show Julia (Hermione Corfield) followed and lost his carefully gathered allies after a waste of secrets, Henry’s (Jeremy Irvine) little hope that he has left to start sliding away, and Ellen (Harriet Slater) and Brian (Jamie Roy) have a nice time celebrating Beltane. Lucky for some.
We still have no idea how, or if the original Outlander Role crew will directly surpass Outlander: blood of my blood (Although technically possible), and with another five episodes that still go, we cannot exclude anything. But when I had a chance to ask Irvine and Corfield exactly what it might be, surprises come a lot before than we first thought.
Next week’s section 6 becomes a particularly challenging – both for us to see and then the role crew originally filmed it. Outlander: blood of my blood In particular, fans need to keep an eye on Julia who is about to have “one of her biggest episodes.”
Julia has her most challenging moment yet in Outlander: Blood of My Blood Episode 6
“It was a big one for us. We both kind of hit rock bottom,” Irvine tells me and gesticulated to Corfield, “you really had a tough one.”
“I did. She goes through a lot of that episode,” she replies. Corfield had previously explained to Collider, “Section 6, to me, was one of my biggest episodes, I would say. It is completely contained. It was a real acting exercise. After I finished that movie shooting because I think we just did it all in a week because it’s basically a massive scene, I came to the end of that week, and I went,” oh, I really like that I “
“And I think it decided me in it. Because I think when you have something that has a really rich acting, then I think, once you have done it, you feel such satisfaction and you are like ‘woohoo, I’ve done it.'”
Irvine continues in our conversation, “It’s rare to see Hermione look tired, but at the end of that week was another story. The scenes are hard, it’s often the ones we enjoy most. You get to do proper acting.”
What on earth does something of this mean for the next episode of Outlander: blood of my blood Request to see. We have seen Henry and Julia both be pushed to the brim individually, but with their flourishing love built on such strong foundations (I am still not over love letters), it feels unlikely that the couple will split.
However, it is completely possible. We know that Claire (Caitriona Balfe) is already born at this time and it is asked for a number of fan -theories that may actually have some weight on them.
Popular theories currently include meeting Claire’s parents in Outlander Season 8, wrapped filming in September 2024, where Julia’s Baby (not Claire) was someone we have already met in the main show, and Jamie’s father Brian is closer to the couple than we have been led to believe.
Will we see any of these in section 6? Unlikely, but I know that Julia’s unspoken challenges lead us directly into season 2.
