Over RS1B released to heart, Burns Unit

Dera Ismail Khan is ready to witness a greater progress in his health infrastructure as the Khyber-Pakhtunkhwa government has released the RS111 billion. To create modern cardiac catheterization laboratories (Cath Labs) and an advanced Burn Center.

The facilities will be developed in two large hospitals in the city – Mufti Mehmood Memorial Hospital and District Headquarters (DHQ) Hospital.

While talking to the app, the KP chief minister’s focal person said of development affairs, Nawaz Khan, the funds have officially been sanctioned by the provincial finance department.

This initiative marks a critical step forward in providing specialized treatment of heart patients and burning victims in the region, eliminating the need to seek such services in distant cities.

The project has been met with widespread appreciation from the local population.

Citizens have hailed chief minister Ali Amin Khan Gandapur for their commitment to fulfill campaign promises and meet the many years of health needs in southern KP. While expressing their support, however, residents have also expressed a strong demand for transparency and timely implementation of the project.
