Pa becomes chaotic after clap sparks scrub, two MPAs suspended

The atmosphere of the Punjab assembly was warmed up as legislators from both the Treasury and the opposition pages clashes, both inside and outside the assembly chambers, after an incident where an opposition MPA escaped a state -cask legislator. The slapper came after allegations of derogatory language used by the Ministry of Finance, which narrowly escaped.

Outside of the assembly chambers, reports emerged that some private employees of the Treasury MPA had used violent language against opposition -MPAs. As a result, acting speaker, Zaheer Iqbal Channer Suspended two opposition -MPAs in 15 meetings.

Provincial Minister of Parliamentary Affairs Mian Mujtaba Shujaur Rehman opposed the behavior of the opposition strongly and said they violated their obligation to act in accordance with Rule 223 of the procedural rules.

Deputy opposition leader Muhammad Moeenuddin Riaz asked the chairman to stop the procedure on the assembly’s agenda and seek permission to talk about the judgments awarded to PTI’s legislators, including opposition leader Bhachar.

Treasury Minister Rehman said Bhachar was like a brother to them but emphasized that the government was not responsible for the verdict. He clarified that Bhachar had been convicted by the right of his actions.

Acting speeches Channer said that discussions of court decisions would not be allowed, but allowed the opposition to express solidarity with Bhachar. When PTI’s MPAs expressed their dissatisfaction with the government over the judgments, the Ministry of Finance’s lawmakers also criticized the opposition and in particular highlighted the events on May 9.

The incident escalated quickly, with both sides turned out. Some older lawmakers intervened to reassure the situation. The acting speaker Channer condemned the behavior and said, “Dogar Sahib, you did not act appropriately. Such a behavior is not acceptable in the assembly.”

The acting speaker Channer said, “Today I consider that this is one of the darkest days of this assembly.” He emphasized that the question was not just about two legislators, but the dignity of the house. He ruled to suspend Khalid Nisar Dogar in 15 meetings.

When the opposition left the house singing slogans, MPA Sheikh IMTIAZ pointed out a lack of decision -making, which received a response from Channer who confirmed that decision -making was met. However, IMTIAZ continued with his objection, which also led to his suspension in 15 meetings.

After completing the agenda’s goods exposed the acting speaker Channer the house until 1 p.m. 14.00 on July 29th.

As legislators from both sides entered the mediasal, another scrub broke out. However, no physical attacks were reported this time. Outside of the assembly chambers, it was reported that some private members had shouted and used violent language against PTI legislators.

The opposition condemned the actions of private members and called them “hooliganism” and said they would not bow to fascism and cruelty despite being cornered.
